Legislator's Day 2013
When: February 28th, 2013
Onsite check-in begins at 9:00 and ends at 12:00pm.
Where: Oregon State Capitol Building, 900 Court St. NE, Salem, Oregon 97301, Students, OTAO and practitioners will be in the lobby, there will be a table labeled for CEUs

Purpose: Earn 3 CEU’s to develop OT advocacy skills by attending the Fourth Annual Legislature’s Day. Practitioners and students will join together to promote Occupational Therapy and discover ways to navigate through the political world in which we live, work and play.
Why Advocate for OT?
OT Awareness: To make our policy makers aware of Occupational Therapy service and it’s value to our community.
Education: To educate our policy makers on the many benefits of Occupational Therapy for our consumers.
Reimbursement: To assure inclusion of OT services in government run health plans and to secure reimbursement for services.
Protect: To protect our scope of practice and licensure laws.
